Notes from the Blue Planet Summit 2008

The 2008 Blue Planet Summit came to a close on April 5th after generating a ton of positive energy.  The 3-Day summit brought together influential and informed world leaders, energy experts, environmentalists and artists to share ideas on how to change our world’s energy culture.  The summit was a collection of speeches, presentations, panel discussions and TV shoots, all filmed to share with the world.  As one of the efforts to transform our thoughts in to actions, we have teamed up with Evolution Sage to measure and offset the summit’s total carbon emission . The inaugural 2008 Blue Planet Summit has generated much cooperation and exceptional vision from the participants that will help to solve our energy challenge.

One of the outcomes from the 2008 summit is the 10 Consensus Statements gathered by Jan Tenbruggencate, created during the summit.  These statements will be the backbone to the future projects to come.
